Manuela São Simão
was born in São Paulo - Brazil - in 1980, going to Portugal in 1985 where she finished her five years degree in Fine Arts - Painting, at the Fine Arts School of Oporto University.
She is a muldidisciplinary artist working with different mediums. Along with her personal work she has been developing curatorial projects under the name EDITMAKEMIX, mixing visual arts and sound in the production of sound exhibitions, radio transmissions and the organization of concerts and other sound related projects.

Since 2006 she also designs and facilitates arts and illustrations workshops for children in Museums, Galleries,Libraries, schools, allways inspired by contemporary art and her own work!
